Toyota Went to Mississippi
Posted in General Info by Karen Rhodes on February 27th, 2007 Blue Springs, MS just outside of Tupelo got the new Toyota plant. Those 2,000 jobs would have been nice
Toyota Motor Corp. said Tuesday it will spend $1.3 billion to build a new sport/ utility vehicle plant in Mississippi, creating roughly 2,000 jobs and making it its fifth assembly plant in the U.S. CnnMoney.com
Oh well, not surprising that we didn’t get it but I didn’t know Blue Springs was even in the running.

I wish I could give you the info but I don’t know. The plant didn’t come to Chattanooga. It went to Mississippi.
