Foreclosure Rates Continue to Climb in May

The report shows 176,137 properties nationwide entered some stage of foreclosure during the month, a increase of about 19 percent from the previous month and a huge increase of 90 percent from May 2006. That’s 1 in every 656 households!
Tennessee came in with the 12th highest rate in the nation. 1 in 638 households, an increase over last month of 12.54% and 56.55% over last May.
