Chattanooga MLS Stats June 2007
I am as optimistic as the next person but when you see a 20% decrease in sales and a 13% increase in inventory over last June it’s hard to keep a positive attitude about the market. Even compared to last month we see a decrease of 11% in sales. The increase in inventory is only 2% but accounts for 100 extra homes available.
While my personal sales volume is higher than this same period last year I see many of the newer agents struggling to stay in business. Sellers are getting frustrated and buyers are making low offers due to the sheer number of homes available.

Karen,
Thanks for all the information. What are your thoughts about residential in the urban core of Chattanooga. I have been considering an investment there and wondered if you have any info on the direction of market demand there.
Appreciate all you do. And thanks in advance. you can email me.
